Hello happy people!!

Let me tell you guys a story about a neglected dress. This dress, which had beautiful long sleeves and a radiant turtleneck, had the unfortunate luck of having been bought by a tiny girl who lives on a tropical island (me). Not a really smart purchase, right? In 5 years that poor dress got lost in a dark and crowded closet. Until one day a miracle happened. That closet was cleaned! Causing the release of several misfits pieces, including the neglected dress. And after a long hour of hugging and kissing, the tiny girl decided to mutilated, I mean, do some DIY to it. And tada!! The not so hot and neglected, short sleeve, no turtle neck dress was born!

Hola gente alegre!

Déjenme contarles la historia de un traje abandonado. Ese traje, el cual tenia unas hermosas mangas largas y un radiante cuelo alto, tuvo la desafortunada suerte de haber sido comprado por una chica pequeñita que vive en una isla tropical (yo). Una compra no muy inteligente verdad? Bueno, en como 5 años que ese traje llevaba viviando con esa pequeñita, se habia perdido dentro de un oscuro y sobrepoblado closet. Hasta que un dia un milagro ocurrio. Ese closet fue limpiado!! Ocasionando la liberacion de varias inadaptadas piezas, entre ellas el traje abandonado.Y después de una larga hora de besos y abrazos, la pequeña chica decidió mutilarlo, que diga, hacer un pequeño DIY con el. Y tada!! El no muy caluroso y abandonado, sin cuello alto, ni magas largas traje nació!

Man, picking 7 random things about me was hard, but here they are:

• When I was younger I used to be on a volleyball team, and one day I made 9 points serving, which led us to have our first winning game.
• I love going to church, since is the only place where I feel that I have no problems and no worries.
• When it comes to writing, I'm not very good with words, that is why I don't write much here.
• I get very excited every time I get to watch any superhero movie (like Thor, The X-Men, Iron Man, Spiderman, ets,) and superhero tv show, (like Misfits, Alpha and the Cape). I love Superheroes!!
• My favorite book is The Hunger Games, I'm obsessed with it and I can't wait for the movie to come out!
• When I'm at a store and I hear a song that I like, unconsciously I begin to move my hips and my head. What can I say, I love to dance.
•  I love to cook. One of the things that I like to do is to watch the food network and then to try out different recipes I see there.

Today I have for you guys last Sunday's family reunion photos, were I was using earth tone colored pieces to bring a warm welcome to this Fall.

And last Sunday was one of those days where laughter was the main course, because I have some pretty funny family members, and love was part of the desert, because you could see from afar how close we are as a family.

Hoy les tengo las fotos de la reunion familiar que tuve el domingo pasado, en donde use piezas de colores en tonos tierra, para así darle una cálida bienvenida al Otoño.

Ese domingo fue uno de esos dias en donde la risa era el plato principal, porque de verdad que mis familiares son bien graciosos, y el amor era parte del postre, porque desde lejos pueden ver lo unido que somos como familia.

That is my Puchunguito who loves to eat dry leaves, to move his little bed around the house, enjoys looking at himself in the mirror and also likes to sleep next to my feet. ^_^

Extraordinary things only happen to extraordinary people

Hello, my lovely people!
I know I been absent for a long time but, I lost my camera's cable and my mom was on vacation so she wasn't able to upload my photos. But now she's back at work and you know what that means, a new blog post!!
Ok so this summer has been kind of relaxing but at the same time a little bit crazy. I have went shopping at  malls that are too far from home so they turn out into little road trips. I have went to the movies every week and I have been very pleased with every movie that I have seen so far (Super 8, Transformers, Bad Teacher and of course, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows). I read "The Virginity Club" and was better than what I expected, I really recommend it and I'm currently reading "The 5 people you meet in heaven". And the only time that I went to the beach I cut my leg with a glass and ended up getting 6 stitches on my leg. But I'm ok :)

Hola gente querida!
Se que he estado ausente por mucho tiendo, pero es que el cable de mi cámara se perdió y mi mama estaba de vacaciones así que no podía cargar las fotos en su computadora. Pero ahora regreso al trabajo y saben lo que eso significa, Un nuevo post para el blog!!

Este verano ha sido un poco relajante pero a la misma vez un poco loco. He ido a malls que se encuentran muy lejos de mi casa así que el camino se convertía un pequeños road trips. He ido al cine todas las semanas y he estado bastante complacida con las películas que he visto (Super 8, Transformers, Bad Teacher y por supuesto, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows). Leí "The Virginity Club" y sorprendentemente estaba mejor de lo que esperaba, yo realmente lo recomiendo. Y ahora estoy leyendo "The 5 people you meet in heaven". Y la única vez que decidí ir para la playa me corte el pie con un vidrio y me pusieron 3 puntos, pero estoy bien :)

Así que, como ha estado su verano? Que lugares han ido o planean ir? Y que películas/libros han visto/leído?
